With companies boasting over 50 promotions, senior hires elevating growing teams and industry experts joining up-and-coming agencies, this week’s roster updates signify rapid expansion across the board—and likely some crazed HR teams. See who ended up where.

ATKPLN

Animated design studio ATKPLN promoted Justin Skerpan to senior producer. Skerpan got his start as a production assistant at Reel FX in 2014—and has since become passionate about “getting under the hood” of the animation, VFX and design process.

Cashmere promoted five senior executives to keep up with growing market demand. Promotions include vice president of business development Cameron Crane to chief growth officer, vice president of operations Joey Furutani to chief of staff, executive vice president of client services Sandy Song to chief client officer, vice president of public relations Brianne Pins to senior vice president of public relations—and vice president, group strategy director Jesse Nicely to senior vice president of cultural strategy.

Code & Theory

Code & Theory hired three new individuals to continue scaling growth at the agency. Catherine Lim joins as head of production, Kristen Cromer as group director of experience design and Kirstyn Nimmo as group director of inclusive design and marketing strategy.

Common Good

Common Good made two new hires to its leadership team. Jenna Capobianco is joining as executive creative director, leading the creative talent department. Brent Marcus is joining as vice president of strategy, where he will lead the strategy department, grow branding services and lead end-to-end campaign development.

Connect Media

Commercial real estate news, events and creative services agency Connect Media hired two new additions to its corporate marketing team. Tyler Sarter joined as corporate marketing director and Tim Rodriguez joined as digital marketing manager.

Empower

Empower promoted Greg Clausen to executive vice president, managing director, Chicago. Bringing over 35 years of experience in media, client advocacy and business development, Clausen will lead the agency’s Chicago location.

FCB

FCB welcomed Mollie Partesotti as its chief strategy officer of Chicago. Partesotti will work alongside president Kelly Graves and chief creative officer Andrés Ordóñez to evolve the company’s strategic offering, deliver innovative ideas to clients and cultivate a dynamic team culture.

Hanson Dodge

Hanson Dodge made two new senior hires to manage a recent boost in client volume. Sara Theis joined as account director to oversee the clients including Keen Footwear, Colectivo Coffee and Grand America Hotels & Resorts. Mason Widmer joined as senior media strategist to lead clients, including the Now account.

IPG

Channing Martin was named the global chief diversity and social impact officer at Interpublic Group (IPG). In this role, Martin will advance company initiatives in diversity, equity and inclusion, continuing to strengthen progress as the company aims to be one of the world’s most diverse and inclusive.

Investis Digital

Digital communications company Investis Digital appointed Myles Peacock as its worldwide chief executive officer. Previously the CEO of Creative Drive, Peacock will drive the global executive team’s strategic vision, client service and performance offerings to align with the needs of the market.

Journey Further

Journey Further welcomed Paul Norris as its head of organic strategy, with the goal of driving growth of its organic search offering. Norris will integrated services in digital PR, technical SEO and content to build a competitive offering.

Ketchum

Communications consultancy Ketchum just promoted three members to its global leadership team. Joann Robertson, CEO, U.K., was also appointed president, global markets. Kelly Sauter, previously senior vice president and director of business development, is now the executive vice president and managing director of global growth. Michael O’Brien, previously president of client experience, is now the chief strategy officer.

Kittch

Ed Suwanjindar joined Kiitch, the first live streaming community for the food obsessed, as its chief marketing officer. With previous leadership positions at Spotify and iTunes, Suwanjindar is the company’s first marketing hire.

Link Agency

TikTok brand factor Link Agency welcomed Dustin Poteet as its chief creative officer. Previously the creative director at IMGN Media, Poteet has produced ads for clients like Burger King, Netflix, Lyft and Nike. In his new role, Poteet will work to create a strong TikTok presence and reach new audiences through disruptive campaigns.

Mediahub U.K.

Yasemin Worrall was promoted to chief client officer at Mediahub U.K. after joining the agency in 2020. In this new role, Worrall will elevate client experiences, strengthen relationships and ensure quality of work.

MRM New York

Digital-first marketing agency MRM New York appointed three new members to its leadership team. Katerina Sudit joined in the role of chief media officer, Joe Toppe as chief technology officer and Nathaniel Wydra as svp data and analytics.

NVE Experience Agency

NVE Experience Agency strengthened its leadership team with three new key hires. James Kyte joined as senior vice president, Michael Tonge as vice president, strategy and Maurice Aouad as the leader of its new creative marketing division.

PPK

Davis Smail is joining PPK as its new creative director. Reporting to executive creative director Paul Prato, Smail will lead work for legacy client Bridgestone Retail Operations—work provide a great working and learning environment for his creative team.

R/GA

R/GA made a few recent hires to its creative leadership team. Han Lin joined as head of design for the company’s New York office. Nadia Saccardo and Tushar Date were appointed as group creative directors, with Saccardo focusing on copywriting and Date on art and visual design.

Snipes

Global leader in the sneaker and streetwear space, Snipes, hired Rich Foster to its executive team as its new chief marketing officer. Foster will lead the integrated marketing team to establish its dynamic position in the marketplace—and work to authentically connect with diverse consumers and communities.

The Fantastical

Molly Hunsinger joined The Fantastical as an account supervisor. Coming from her previous role as senior account supervisor at On Ideas, Hungsinger will executive on day-to-day coordination of agency activities and client contact on key accounts, as well as direct account service team members to best support clients.

Teresa Caro joined The Johnson Group as its new president. Bringing 30 years of industry experience, Caro will lead cutting-edge brand marketing to scale company growth.

Unfold hired Jason Berk to lead its social division. With more than 20 years of experience in lifestyle, entertainment and traditional brand marketing, Berk will oversee over 50 team members in organic, paid and performance social practices.

UTA facilitated 54 promotions across 20 divisions and multiple offices. Promotions span various levels of the company and include departments in audio, brand studio, corporate services, digital talent and about 15 other divisions.

VidMob welcomed Sharmila Patel as its chief financial officer. With experience as a startup CFO and as the vice president of finance at Yahoo, Patel will lead the finance and business operations teams to scale the company’s growth.

VMLY&R promoted Renée Lavecchia to the executive creative director of VMLY&R Miami. In this new role, Lavecchia will drive growth across the agency’s client portfolio, including her current assignments including Wendy’s and Dell.

WorkReduce

Data-driven platform for marketing staff augmentation and services, WorkReduce, made two key hires to its leadership team. Dr. Timothy L. Brown is joining as director of people and culture and Amelia Tran is joining as senior director of marketing.
