Revolving Door Roster Updates: BETC, Fox + Hare, Oberland & More

This week is closing off with many new leadership hires, department expansions and roster additions. Let’s see who’s coming into Q4 hot this week in the agencies world.

Advantage Unified Commerce

Advantage Unified Commerce hired Stephanie Rogers as its new senior vice president of strategic services. Rogers brings over 25 years of experience and expertise in marketing across digital and traditional channels.

Believe Media

Director Bruce St. Clair joined Believe Media’s roster for U.S. commercial representation. St. Clair has directed spots for clients including AT&T, Chevrolet, Nationwide and Samsung.

Bernstein-Rein

Kelli Anstine was promoted to Bernstein-Rein’s new president. Anstine has been at the company for over 29 years and previously served as the agency’s vice president. Now, she will lead a Retailigent brand strategy for Berstein-Rein, aimed at driving engagement and growth for retail brands with enhanced customer and market intelligence.

BETC

BETC promoted Antoinette Beatson to vice president. Having previously held roles at the company including copywriter, creative director and most recently executive creative director, Beatson will now lead a team of creative talents to serve clients including Disneyland Paris, La Roche-Posay and Mondelez—with a key focus on working toward gender equality through campaign work.

Big fish

Strategic design consultancy big fish welcomed Graham Hales as its first chief executive officer. In this role, Hales will run the U.K. business, develop its new office in the U.S. and advise clients on startup, transformation and growth strategies.

Fox + Hare

Fox + Hare selected Mark Smith as its first managing director. The hire comes after a period of significant growth for the agency, during which they brought in new clients including Britvic Group, easyJet holidays, OneID and Vestiaire Collective.

Hecho Studios

Keith Jamerson was named the executive production director at Hecho Studios. Coming from his previous role as U.S. head of production at Stink Studios, Jamerson will expand the company’s diverse network of creators, directors and makers to deliver impactful content for brands—while improving equity and representation.

MassiveMusic

MassiveMusic welcomed new senior creative appointment to supplement its growing demand for sound and music strategies for brands and agencies. Hires include Eric David Johnson as executive creative director and Shez Mehra as head of partnerships. Additionally, Johanna Cranitch was promoted to creative director.

McCann Worldgroup

Ann-Christine Diaz was named the senior vice president, global director, creative excellence at McCann Worldgroup. With over 20 years of experience in journalism covering advertising and marketing creativity, most recently as creativity editor at Ad Age, Diaz will oversee the agency’s creative excellence department to support its global creative community across all regions and agencies.

New York Women in Film & Television

Leslie Fields-Cruz was named the new board of directors’ president for New York Women in Film & Television. Fields-Cruz has four years of experience on the board, including roles as the vice president of programming and membership, while also holding the position of executive director of Black Public Media since 2014.

Oberland

Oberland expanded its team with two new creative and strategic hires. Chris Plehal joined as vice president, creative director and Emma Ryan joined as senior strategist, together boosting the agency’s creative and intellectual firepower.

Ogury

Stéphane Dupayage was appointed the chief product officer at Ogury. Dupayage will lead Ogury’s product organization and roadmap to execute new strategies on personified advertising, utilizing a cookie-less solution for marketers, agencies and suppliers.

OpenWeb

Premium community engagement platform OpenWeb appointed Tiffany Xingyu Wang as its first-ever CMO. Wang is an award-winning marketing expert and digital safety leader—and will be responsible for the company’s expansion to new publishers, advertisers and applications.

Rattling Stick

Rattling Stick U.S. signed director Iqbal Ahmed for U.S. commercial representation. Ahmed is known for his work with clients like Nike, Adidas, Google, Spotify, Pinterest, Snapchat and Microsoft

Rinck Advertising

Rinck Advertising hired Maya Johnston as graphic designer. With years of experience as an in-house animator and expertise in 2D vector animation and motion design, Johnston will provide design solutions including video, animation, photography and color theory.

Sparks + honey

Sparks + honey expanded its advisory board with experts in emerging tastes and equitable futures. The new board members include Jing Gao, a chef, entrepreneur and Chinese cuisine expert, as well as Dr. Beck Takeda-Tinker, the chief education and operations innovation officer at the Colorado State University system.

Wavemaker India

Vishal Jacob was named the chief transformation officer at Wavemaker India. Jacob will continue serving in his existing role as chief digital officer, with added responsibilities for his new position—including creating diverse skillsets within business teams to managing current and future business requirements.
