Revolving Door Roster Updates: Argus, Digitalzone, Sid Lee & more

March has begun, Spring is nearing and agencies are continuing to grow at warp speed. Here are the top hires, promotions and appointments this week.

AFX Creative

Content creation studio AFX Creative has added Felix Urquiza as executive creative director. Urquiza joins with nearly 20 years of experience in the field, working at top-tier companies like Method Studios; The Mill; and Team One.

Argus

Argus welcomed two new creative leaders to its team. Marie Rockett joined as head of art and Pete Valle joined as head of copy.

Borabora

Borabora named Luis Uribe as its new partner and design director. Uribe will work with clients including Samsung, Montblanc and BMW.

CG Life

CG Life named Chris Weber as its new svp of strategy. Weber will lead the agency’s strategic offering, working closely with clients, especially those in biopharma, to grow their businesses.

Clarity

Clarity named Kristen Ingraham as its new president in North America. Ingraham will lead the agency’s growth in North America from its base offices in New York and California.

Copacino

Copacino named Rediate Tekeste as its first group account director. Tekeste will contribute to the growth of the agency’s capabilities in client services and leadership development.

DDB Chicago

DDB Chicago bolstered its creative offering with two new key appointments. Colin Selikow was named chief creative officer and Jaime McGill was named head of strategy.

DDB Paris

DDB Paris named Alexander Kalchev and Paul Ducré as its new CEOs. The pair brings 20 years of experience leading agencies together, and will work to catapult DDB Paris into a global creative agency powerhouse.

Deeplocal

Deeplocal named two new c-suite executives to power its growth in 2024 and beyond. Jakob Marsico joined as chief technology officer and Lauren Kardos joined as chief financial officer.

Digitalzone

Digitalzone welcomed two c-suite hires to guide company growth and customer experience. Sonjoy Ganguly joined as chief product officer and Thomas Koletas joined as chief revenue officer.

Geletka+

Geletka+ brought on three new hires after opening its new Santa Monica office. Spencer Sease was named director and photographer at the Santa Monica office while Anders Newman joined as senior designer, Sheetal Meher as account supervisor at the Chicago office.

Gut Amsterdam

Gut Amsterdam welcomed Alex Romero and Gastón Gual as its new creative directors. The two bring experience collaborating with brands like Stella Artois, Globant and Coca-Cola.

Imre

Imre brought on three new hires and a new appointment to its executive board. Anna Kotis was named president, Aleisia Gibson Wright was named chief growth officer and Maryann Kuzel was named evp of data and analytics. Becky Chidester, former CEO of Wunderman Thompson, was named chair of the newly-formed strategic committee, dedicated to creating a customer-centric approach with data-driven innovation.

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment welcomed Conall McAteer as its first sport-specific creative director. McAteer joins from his previous role at We Are Social, where he led work for clients like adidas football, running and Originals.

Modern Post

Modern Post brought on Taylor Shafer as its new colorist. Shafer brings experience collaborating with brands like Volva, Meta, Verizon, MLB, Oscar de la Renta, Dockers and Victoria’s Secret.

Momentum Worldwide U.K.

Momentum Worldwide U.K. welcomed Jamie Davies as its new U.K. executive creative director. Davies is known for his work in storytelling, innovation and audience-centric thinking.

Ogilvy Paris

Ogilvy Paris appointed Julia de Sainte Marie as managing partner in charge of experience. She will lead the development of the agency’s new AI.Lab center of excellence, while also steering the agency’s key accounts, including Accor, Nestlé and L’Oréal.

Ogilvy U.K. and Hogarth

Ogilvy U.K. and Hogarth named Natasha Wellesley as head of integrated production. Wellesley brings experience working for top agencies like BBH and 180LA, collaborating with clients like Adidas, Boost, Pepsi, Miller Lite and HP.

Qyou Media

Qyou Media made three new promotions and launched a new business intelligence unit. Lexi St. John was promoted to evp of Qyou and remains general manager of Qyou Studios. Morgan Barclay was named svp of strategy and Chris Smith was appointed to vp of Qyou Studios.

Sid Lee

Sid Lee appointed two new leaders to its teams in Canada. Zemina Moosa was named president of the Toronto office and Geneviève Boulanger was named president of the Montreal office.

StrawberryFrog

StrawberryFrog named Nick Sonderup as its new executive creative director. Sonderup will tap into his visionary talent, insight and leadership to expand the agency’s creative growth in 2024.

Stein IAS

Stein IAS made two senior appointments to support its expansion of operations in the U.S. and EMEA. Darin Albers will join as media director in the U.S. and Hannah Lane will serve as client services director, EMEA.

Tom, Dick & Harry Creative Co.

Tom, Dick & Harry Creative Co. named Chris Hill as its new managing director. Hill will lead day-to-day operations, strategic vision, client engagement and overall growth for the agency.

UTA

UTA, the global talent, entertainment, sports and advisory company, has acquired JUV Consulting, a Gen Z marketing firm founded by Ziad Ahmed. JUV has over 300 clients, including Google, Unilever, Converse, E.L.F. Beauty, Lionsgate, and more.

Viral Nation

Viral Nation welcomed two new members to its executive leadership team. Nicholas Spiro joined as chief product officer and Ahmad Nassri joined as chief technology officer.

Wild Gift Content

Wild Gift Content signed Julian Acosta to its roster of commercial directors. Acosta is known for his work on music videos and documentaries for artists like John Legend and The Roots, as well as spots for brands like Nissan and Jeep.
