Agencies are expanding worldwide, securing AOR spots for large-scale brands and scaling offerings through strategic partnerships. This week’s roundup includes our top industry picks.


BBH expanded in Europe with the launch of a new office in Dublin, Ireland alongside welcoming Tesco as its founding client. BBH strategically placed Aubrey O’Connell, Sam Caren and Amy Crow in top leadership positions to aid in embedding the agency’s black sheep mentality to Dublin’s creative community.


Colle McVoy

Colle McVoy once again secured its spot as the agency of record for Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board. The agency will continue leading brand strategy, creative, design, media planning and buying and influencer marketing for the board.


Collective was chosen as the U.S. agency of record for Platinum Guild International USA. The agency will lead PGI USA’s content creation, digital strategy, performance marketing and web development for Platinum Born, its consumer-facing brand.

Dentsu X

Following a review, dentsu X has been named media agency of record for JCPenney, overseeing the retailer’s full media spend and expanding upon a successful 17-year relationship. Since 2005 dentsu has been a media agency partner for JCPenney, largely in the search and performance media space. Under this expanded relationship, denstu X will handle all media buying and planning across platforms, helping JCPenney to engage throughout the entire customer journey while driving greater value and results at the intersection of brand, customer and demand.

Familiar Creatures

Crunch Fitness chose Familiar Creatures as its agency of record. The partnership plans to build upon a previously project-based relationship to expand creative across the board.

Finn Partners

RingCentral named Finn Partners as its new PR agency of record in the U.S. The partnership covers media and analyst relations, thought leadership, events, and product communications to drive increased awareness for RingCentral, its spokespeople, partners and product portfolio.


Visible, an all-digital wireless service in the U.S., has appointed independent creative agency Gut Miami to be its social media agency of record. The agency will lead Visible’s content across all owned channels including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. The scope also includes content and channel strategies, cultural insights, content mining, community management and more. This is the first telecommunications brand the agency is working with in the U.S.

Harmelin Media

American Car Center hired Harmelin Media to promote its 68 locations located throughout the South and Southeast U.S. Harmelin Media was chosen for its local-first approach and will now lead search, social media, OTT/CTV SEO, CRO and local TV, radio and out-of-home buying.


Vivid Goliath, a leader in the toys and games market, has appointed Havas Entertainment, Havas Media Group’s entertainment and culture agency brand, as its U.K. media agency of record.


Futurescape leader Journey acquired three new platforms—ICrave, Futures Intelligence Group and Skilled Creative. The move comes with the goal of tapping into each of their unique qualities to elevate brand offerings.


Strategic marketing innovator Known has been named media AOR for Sesame Workshop, deepening the relationship with the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street. Working closely with Sesame Workshop’s audience development team, Known will handle all account management and execution for domestic paid media campaigns. Known will also further its work with the Sesame Workshop team to establish benchmarks for a range of upcoming campaign goals and will help optimize SEM and SEO strategy across the organization’s web properties.


Independent creative agency Madwell has been named agency of record for high-end electronics brand Denon after a competitive pitch. The U.S., Western Europe, Japan and China are the markets Madwell will target. The first global brand campaign work will break in the second half of 2022.


McKinney was named the agency of record for Blue Diamond Growers, one of the largest producers of almonds. The agency will lead all creative work across consumer-facing business, with the goal of expanding connections with at-home shoppers.


Growth and transformation consultancy Prophet opened a new office in Dubai, signifying its continued global growth. The office will service as the agency’s Middle East hub for client support and customer-centric transformation capabilities.

Rave Agency

The rAVe Agency, a full-service creative agency serving the AV, UCC and digital signage industries, has been selected by CEDIA Expo as its agency of record, after a competitive review. The rAVe Agency will be responsible for elevating CEDIA Expo through developing and executing strategic and integrated public relations, social media marketing and live-event production.

Red & Co.

Red & Co. is reporting wins across the board, which it attributes to its “borderless model” of strategic offerings and creative brand growth strategies. The wins include campaigns for Nike, Theya Healthcare, Thousand Miles, Transcend and Coop Home Goods.

The Republik

The Republik was signed on as Australian Surfacing Company’s agency of record. The win was announced by Axolotl owner and CEO Maurice Levin, who communicated the goal of the partnership is to expand the brand globally.

Two by Four

Two by Four, an independent, full-service advertising agency headquartered in Chicago, has signed on with the South Dakota Department of Tourism as a client. The agency will partner with the South Dakota Department of Tourism to enhance and expand social media channels and ensure that consumer-facing and partner websites provide a high-quality user experience. Two by Four will also lead the charge in creating an effective and creative email marketing program across a variety of stakeholders.

Yonder Media

Yonder Media of The Beyond Collective cemented its role as the media account for Make-A-Wish U.K. The agency will support fundraising efforts, with a focus on increase mass fundraising income and builder the charity’s supporter database.
