Revolving Door Agency Moves: Agital, Ogilvy, The Bloc & More

The agency world is celebrating new partnerships, acquisitions and client wins from this week.


WMFE, a nonprofit, public media news organization based in Orlando, has chosen &Barr to provide integrated creative, media and public relations services.



Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles U.K. chose adam&eveDDB to lead its advertising business. The agency, which previously led the account five years ago, created a new brand platform for the company to place greater focus on services and mobility.


Programmatic digital OOH advertising leader Adomni partnered with data solutions company Kochava to unveil a new solution for CTV. Named Outside In by Adomni, the partnership empowers advertisers to run connected television campaigns to enhance results with new retargeting capabilities.


Agital acquired established travel and tourism-focused agency Digital Edge. The acquisition expands Agital’s capabilities in the industry, and is also the first woman-owned business in its portfolio.

Amplify LA

Amplify LA was chosen by Abercrombie & Fitch as its 2024 event partner. The agency produced a launch event to celebrate the brand’s partnership with Mclaren Racing.


Bounteous was chosen to launch Smoothie King’s new app and next-gen website. The agency worked to improve the usability of the app and website, increasing guest engagement and improving customer experience. 


Mitchells & Butlers, a top restaurant and pub company in the U.K., has appointed CHS as the new creative agency for its flagship restaurants division. CHS is entrusted with the creative and strategic marketing operations for brands including Toby Carvery, Stonehouse and Harvester.

Creative Department

Creative Department, a new private membership platform enabling teams to tap into a creative fractional talent network, launched recently. The platform acts as a one-stop-shop for companies to complete creative work across mediums.

Demonstrate x DDW

Demonstrate kicked off 2024 with several new client wins. Demonstrategy was named consumer and business PR agency of record for Pair of Thieves, lead business and consumer lifestyle PR and influencer marketing lead for Wayb and integrated and communications agency of record of Powerheal.


Gestalt Brand Lab was chosen as the new branding agency for Martin Katz. The agency will develop a new brand expression and campaign elements for the company, including a new site, social media content, advertising and video content. 


StrawberryFrog launched its new partner firm, inplural, in New York. The company is inspired by pluralism and diversity of thought in servicing businesses with a purpose worth believing in.

January Digital

January Consulting and January Digital were chosen as marketing strategy firm and digital agency of record for Sakara. The two teams will work to empower Sakara’s approach to paid media and marketing.


Levelwing acquired creative and production company Maiden Creative. The acquisition enhances the agency’s offerings in creative strategy, production, storytelling, and branded content across all screens and experiences.


Ogilvy was chosen as the strategic and creative partner for retailer Hy-Vee’s suite of health brands. Ogilvy Health will provide expertise in creative, strategy and customer experience for customers like RedBox Rx, Vivid Clear Rx and Amber Speciality Pharmacy.

Passion Point Collective

Passion Point Collective was appointed as lead agency of record for brand Armadillo World Headquarters. The agency will work to launch and market multiple platforms for the venue.


Public relations management platform Propel is launching Propel 2.0, an AI-powered platform streamlining the end-to-end PR process. The upgrade will be released to customers on February 25.


Stagwell has added Philippines-based gaming and experience design agency Octopus&Whale to its global affiliate program to bolster full-service and specialty digital solutions for clients across Asia-Pacific.

The Bloc

Health-native communications agency The Bloc welcomed new member, healthcare communication firm Page & Page. The partnership enhances The Bloc’s presence in the U.K., building its leadership in global health communication.

Trailer Park Group

Trailer Park Group, an entertainment marketing and content production company, announced that its industry-leading gameplay video production and marketing studio, Dark Burn Creative (DBC), is expanding to Europe with an active presence based in London. The move allows Dark Burn Creative to better serve gaming clients across the U.K. and Europe.

Tux Creative

Tux Creative expanded its presence in the U.S. with the acquisition of Another Creative. Based in LA, Another Creative’s addition doubles the size of Tux Creative and adds a slate of clients to its portfolio.

Uproar PR

Uproar PR signed tech startup MerlinTPS as a new client. The agency will work to increase brand awareness and generate leads for the company.


Perrigo, a global manufacturer and supplier of over-the-counter self-care products, has appointed VML as its strategic, creative and activation partner across its women’s health and OTC portfolio.


Gaming marketing and gametech company Livewire partnered with Discord marketing specialist Wildfire. The agency will work to sell Livewire’s inventory on the community-driven communications platform.
