MDC Partners Continues Its Recovery With New Biz Dev Hire

MDC Partners appointed Khartoon Weiss as senior vice president, business development. In the role, Weiss will focus on Doner while also supporting the rest of the holding company’s network and MDC’s media and digital capabilities, working closely with senior vice president Ryan Linder and reporting to chief marketing and business development officer Bob Kantor.

Weiss arrives from Mediacom, where she has served as managing director, chief growth officer since 2013, where she developed and directed long-term strategic objectives and managed strategic relationships with clients. Prior to joining Mediacom, she served as vice president of integrated marketing communications at Clear Channel, where she worked with clients including American Express, Budweiser and MasterCard. She joined Clear Channel in 2011, following six years as vice president, director, new business development with BBDO New York.
