Lippincott Names New Partner for Innovation Practice

New York brand and innovation consultancy Lippincott hired Melissa Tischler as partner for its innovation practice.

Tischler will be tasked with working with clients across to create new experiences, products, and ventures, while shaping and building the practice alongside Lippincott chief experience officer Chris Colborn. Tischler has already begun a project working with an oral health client to create disruptive ways to bring oral care services to the underserved.

“Melissa has an amazing history of bringing innovative products and services to market —as both a consultant and as an entrepreneur. We’re thrilled she’s decided to join Lippincott and bring her unique perspective and expertise to bear as we continue to grow our innovation practice,” Colborn said in a statement. “Her insight and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to push the boundaries in combing purpose-driven with customer-led approaches to meaningful innovation.”

Tischler joins Lippincott following nine years at innovation consultancy Fahrenheit 212, where she served as head of strategy. She has worked on key client projects including helping Marriott launch a global food and beverage incubator, creating a new consumer shopping experience for Revlon fragrances, developing Stouffer’s FitKitchen brand and extending Jimmy Dean and Hillshire Farms into new categories with new product lines. She has also worked with Skinny Cow, Nescafe, Samsung, Citi, Office Depot, Trojan and Digiorno developing new products.

Earlier in her career, she was was part of the founding team that designed and launched personal care brand EOS.
