GSD&M has recently been suffering. After losing the Wal-Mart and AT&T accounts and a round of heavy lay-offs (get the background here), Greed, Sex, Drugs & Money is still kicking. Well, sort of.
The agency recently completed a video for the State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs and the Business for Diplomatic Action which is to welcome travelers to the United States who are applying for visas and will play in 200 American embassies and consulates worldwide.
“The challenge was to create a film that captures what America stands for — a proudly diverse society that welcomes people from other cultures and lands with open arms,” said Mike Blair, Executive Vice President, Creative Director at Idea City.
Ah, the sweet smell of pro bono work.
