Dumbo Makes its Bid for Google’s Experimental Ultra High Speed Broadband Network

By Matt Van Hoven

Google will soon test an experimental ultra-high-speed fiber optic ISP system which if successful will help it further its Web domination. In a bid to find the best place to test the system, the software company allowed the public to submit applications requesting their city/state/neighborhood be considered for the testing site.

The Digital Dumbo crowd just across the East river got in on the game and held a competition for the best video explaining why Dumbo should be the testing site. A bunch of Dumbo companies got in on it, and apparently the thing above from HUSH Studios was the best. Only so much can be done on short notice people.
