Digitas Hires Organic, FCB Vet as New Business Lead for North America

Digitas hired Michelle Tang to lead new business in North America in the newly created role of executive vice president, head of new business and marketing, North America.

In the role, Tang will be based in New York and be responsible for driving growth and raising awareness for Digitas across North America, including leading pitches, prospecting, agency positioning and messaging.  She will report to global chief growth officer Linda Piggot.

“Digitas has an incredible reputation with deep capabilities across creative, media, strategy, technology and data & analytics. Our ability to connect the dots is amazing and I am so thrilled to bring our strengths to clients and grow our business,” Tang said.

Tang most recently served as chief growth officer for Organic, a role she left last February to take a break from the industry. Prior to joining Organic in 2017, she spent over four years with FCB New York, working her way up to chief marketing officer before her departure. She joined FCB in 2012 vp, director, worldwide agency growth, after nearly two years as director, business development at Wunderman. Over the course of her career, she has helped in new business wins including Best Buy, Clorox, Pfizer and Levi’s. She was also part of the multi-agency Omnicom team that won the majority of the global Ford account.
