D&G Nabs AOR Duties for Martini

Italian winemaking brand Martini has appointed David&Goliath as its U.S. agency of record. The El Segundo, CA-based shop will now handle strategy and creative, ranging from TV, digital, print and outdoor, for the MARTINI Asti sparkling wine imprint, which falls under the Bacardi U.S.A. umbrella. Update: Martini brand manager Anthony Pujala sent us this response about the D&G appointment:

According to Pujala, Martini has not advertised in the U.S. for over 10 years so there was no prior advertising agency in place. He adds that this current account review “has been a lengthy process that involved multiple agencies.”
