Seven years after leaving Cramer-Krasselt for greener pastures at Leo Burnett and Facebook, G. Andrew Meyer is returning to the Chicago-based agency to take on the role of executive creative director.

Meyer replaces Rich Hamann, who left Cramer-Krasselt earlier this year to join Leo Burnett Chicago, where he’s been tasked with overseeing the Kellogg’s account as executive creative director.

In his new role, Meyer will work across accounts, including Corona, Porsche, Edward Jones and Tropicana.

He previously served as creative lead-global marketing at Facebook and Instagram, a role that, according to his LinkedIn, involved conceiving, overseeing, and executive creative solutions on behalf of brands for “mobile feed environments within the Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp platforms.”

Before Facebook, he served as executive creative director at Leo Burnett, where he worked with brands such as Altoids, Cadillac, Maytag, Morgan Stanley and Samsung. Before joining Leo Burnett, he worked at Cramer-Krasselt as a group creative director from 2007 to 2012. During that time, he penned Corona’s “Find Your Beach” tagline.

“Andrew is a rare talent who can meld creativity and innovation into effective storytelling for brands,” Karen Seamen, president and chief operating officer at Cramer-Krasselt, said. “With his vast experiences at Facebook and Instagram, working with creative agencies, media partners and in-house marketing teams, he brings a unique and valuable perspective on what’s happening in the digital space today and the industry as a whole.”
