Colle+McVoy Announces Pair of Design Promotions

By Erik Oster

Colle+McVoy promoted design director Ed Bennett to the role of executive design director, with associate design director Sam Soulek filling the role of design director. Soulek will work closely with Bennett on day-to-day design direction across all clients.

Bennett first arrived at Colle+McVoy back in 2000, serving as design director ever since and helping grow the department to nearly double its size last year. Before joining the agency he spent six years operating his own design shop, Bennett Design Co. He also spent five years as an instructor for Miami Ad School.

Soulek joined Colle+McVoy as an associate design director in April of 2013. Prior to joining the agency he spent time as a designer with mono, Squad 19 and Catalyst Studios and as a senior designer with Olson and retail design agency FAME.

“My journey at Colle+McVoy has been tremendous and I’ve been honored to work here with an incredible team,” added Bennett. “I’m excited to continue to create experiences that push the boundaries of design and enhance our clients brands.”
