We hear that at least two addies over at CL were handed pink slips last week Friday. This seems to coincide with the rumor we heard earlier today that mega-client Harley-Davidson is quietly shopping around.
If you look back at some of the changes at CL, including the loss of AE Jim Scott, who started a new agency a few years back that netted $30.5 million this year, one could have hypothesized some changes.
Our spy noted that the recently acquired Subaru interactive business should keep the Minneapolis shop going…
But maybe this is just more penny-pinching by the “cheap” shop. Remember? They don’t reimburse for calendars, and that’s final!
Carmichael also recently lost group planning director Marcus Fischer to space150, which picked him up to be their VP of account planning. Fischer had worked on Subaru during his four-year stay at CL.
