McCann EVP/CMO Bryan Yolles Dies at 60

Bryan Yolles, whose most recent post was at Universal McCann, New York, has died at the age of 60.

The ad man was a recent addition to the McCann team, joining in December, 2007. His previous post was at Doner, where he was CMO and whom he sued for information regarding his pension. From his obituary: “Bryan joined Universal McCann in New York in December 2007 as Executive Vice-President, Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Bryan helped manage marketing, intergration of resources, and business development across the McCann network. Before joining Universal McCann, Bryan was Executive Vice-President, Chief Marketing Officer of Doner for sixteen years, the largest independent agency in the U.S. In that capacity, he oversaw business development, marketing management consultation and intergration of agency resources involving the agency’s clients products and services.”

According to the obit, Mr. Yolles also managed Doner’s Account Planning team. Before entering the ad business, Bryan was a practicing attorney, specializing in banking and finance, international trade, marketing and courtroom litigation.

More recently, he was promoted to Chief Growth Officer of Interpublic Group’s Media Brands (January 2009). Click here for info regarding funeral arrangements.
