Last night in New York City, the planning folks got their respect due as the 4A’s held its annual Jay Chiat Awards for Strategic Excellence. In this year’s installment, there were 39 medals handed out and agencies that topped the winners list included CP+B and Goodby, which both won Gold in the Brand Experience category for the AmEx “Small Business Saturday” and Adobe “Museum of Digital Media” efforts, respectively. But we’re thinking maybe Droga5 got robbed as it came runner-up in said category for its great “Decode Jay-Z with Bing” project from just about a year ago.
