Brien Blakely is joining WJZY, the Fox-owned station in Charlotte, N.C., as an anchor for Good Day Charlotte.
Starting Jan. 11, 2016, Blakely will sit alongside Page Crawford and Barbara Lash.
“Brien had instant chemistry with Page and Barbara from the moment he came on set,” said news director Karen Koutsky. “He will bring an interesting dynamic to our morning news and we are excited to welcome him back to Charlotte.”

This is a return to Charlotte for Blakely. He worked at WCCB before joining KCPQ in Seattle where he was a morning anchor and reporter. He’s also worked at KPNX in Phoenix.
