Wisconsin governor Scott Walker (left) is currently fighting for his political life ahead of tomorrow’s recall election. This presents a fairly hilarious problem for another Scott Walker (right) who anchors the evening newscasts at New Orleans NBC-affiliate WDSU.
WDSU’s Walker has been flooded with messages from Facebook and Twitter users who have mistaken him for the controversial governor. The good-natured anchor, who has been confused with the governor before, recently posted “An Open Letter to the People of Wisconsin” on his personal blog about the mix-up:
There are people though who are a bit confused, like the person who tweeted his family’s support to me this morning. There are many others like him. Reach out to them. Reveal the truth. Let them know that I have much better hair than your Scott Walker…and I’ll be in New Orleans anchoring the news on June 5.
WDSU’s Walker also poked fun at the confusion via Twitter:
@GovWalker Things are heating up on my timeline. Can’t imagine what it’s like for you.

Our advice: Walker should call WBAL sports director Gerry Sandusky, who found himself in a similar situation last year.
