Craig McKee will join Cincinnati ABC affiliate WCPO as an anchor on June 8.
McKee, who comes from WISN in Milwaukee, will join Carol Williams, Tanya O’Rourke, Julie Dolan, chief meteorologist Steve Raleigh and sports director John Popovich for the station’s evening newscasts.
Before working at WISN, McKee was a weekend anchor at KFMB in San Diego, Calif. He’s also been a helicopter reporter/photojournalist for KPNX in Phoenix. Ariz. and has worked at WOWK in Charleston, West Virginia. He also served nine years in the U.S. Air Force.
“We’re getting just the right person to complement an already strong anchor team,” said WCPO news director Alex Bongiorno. “Craig’s extensive and diverse background from the combat field to the anchor desk brings together a unique style of anchoring and reporting to the Tri-State.”
