Sinclair’s KATU Makes Cuts

By Kevin Eck

At least two newsroom staffers, including news anchor Natali Marmion have been laid off at Portland’s Sinclair-owned KATU, reports Oregon Live.

“This was basically a restructuring of the station as we move forward to the year,” said KATU GM John Tamerlano.

Marmion had worked at KATU since 1997. She started her career at KMIR in Palm Desert, California. Assignment manager Nick Bradshaw, who had been with KATU since 2009, was also let go.
