San Antonio Station Names New Evening Anchor

WOAI, the Sinclair station in San Antonio, Texas, has a new evening anchor.

The station announced that Simone De Alba will join veteran anchor Randy Beamer at 10 p.m. on the Fox affiliate.

De Alba comes from Sacramento, Calif., where she was a morning anchor and reporter at KTXL.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join the team at WOAI,” said De Alba. “I could not be more excited to enter this next chapter of my career in the city of San Antonio, and I look forward to serving the community alongside the talented journalists at News 4 San Antonio.”

I’m very excited about the addition of Simone to our News 4 San Antonio team,” said Sinclair San Antonio general manager Dean Radla. “Simone is a real pro that will blend well with our established talent and provide another credible voice to enhance the station’s position as trusted and valued source of information for local viewers.”

Simone started her career in Great Falls, Mont. She holds multiple degrees in political science and journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Metropolitan State University.
