Nexstar and Cox Make Up, Reach Distribution Agreement

The Nexstar Broadcasting Cox Communications feud is over.

The two companies reached a new distribution deal allowing Cox to get back to carrying the programming on Nexstar’s stations “as soon as possible.”

The agreement covers 13 network affiliated and local stations in nine markets.

The negotiations got a little tense last week when Nexstar and Cox traded accusations and barbs via press release. At one point Nexstar called Cox “irrational” and “ignorant.”
