KTVU anchor Julie Haener is letting viewers know she’s on the mend.
The anchor for the San Francisco Bay Area Fox-owned station told viewers on her Facebook page she had surgery because of an obstruction in her small intestine.
SF media blogger Rich Lieberman first reported the news.

“I’m spending my 5th night in the hospital and a visit from my boys is the best medicine!” Haener wrote. “I’m getting a little better everyday but still not sure when I get to come home! Doctors say it’s going to take some time to heal up. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and well wishes. They have meant the world to me!!❤”
