Kansas City ABC affiliate KMBC has a new anchor team for its 5 and its 9 p.m. newscast on KCWE.
Starting Monday, Steven Albritton from KATC in Lafayette, Louisiana will join KMBC morning anchor Haley Harrison on the evening newscasts.
“Haley and Steven are passionate viewer advocates in reporting and leading a news team,” said KMBC news director Sherrie Brown. “They both have investigative journalism experience and will work together to address important public issues and concerns. Haley and Steven enjoy being active in the community and will make a great addition to our team. I’m excited to add two more excellent journalists to the evening newscasts.”
