KABC to Give Viewers ‘Inside Look’ at Oscars

KABC is letting viewers see what it’s like to walk the red carpet at the Oscars.

The Los Angeles ABC-owned station is launching a 360 virtual reality experience. Walk down a full length red carpet without worrying about knowing what you’re wearing, see a preview of the Governors Ball with Wolfgang Puck and a have a look from the rooftop of Jimmy Kimmel’s soundstage at the Oscar’s venue, the red carpet and the Hollywood sign.

You can see the whole thing on abc7.com/vr and the stations’ Facebook page. It’s also available on Littlstar web, mobile, headset and Apple TVC platforms starting Sunday at 2 p.m.

The broadcast of the 88th annual Oscars starts Sunday on ABC at 7 p.m. EST from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
