Former WFLD anchor Amara Walker is joining CNN International, Chicago media reporter Robert Feder reports.
Walker signed off from WFLD, the Fox-owned station in Chicago, in December. During her year and a half there, she anchored the weekend evening newscasts and reported during the week. Before that, she worked at WTVJ, the NBC-owned station in Miami.
Walker left WFLD to move to Atlanta for her husband’s job. She has been working for CNNI and CNN U.S. on a freelance basis for the past several months.
