Police are still looking for the people who broke into a KTVU news van and stole a tripod and other equipment.
CBS-owned station KPIX says the reporter, photographer and their security guard were away form the van when the robbery occurred.
Three weeks ago, KNTV photographer Alan Waples was pistol whipped and had his gear stolen while he and other local crews were covering a story on San Francisco’s Embarcadero.
