A split decision for the Sunday public affairs shows on August 10: CBS’ “Face the Nation” wins in total viewers and ABC’s “This Week” wins in the A25-54 demographic. NBC’s “Meet the Press,” which will likely announce a new host by week’s end, was third in both ratings measurements.

With the exception of Univision’s “Al Punto,” all the Sunday shows are up compared to the same week last year. “Fox News Sunday” is up the most (+28%) in total viewers, and “Meet the Press” (+33%) is up the most in the demo. “Al Punto” was down -6% in total viewers and up +2% in the demo.

Cable rebroadcasts of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,033,000 total viewers and 416,000 A25-54 viewers.

“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 67% of the country.
