By Chris Ariens

Scott Pelley is taking the “CBS Evening News” to the West Coast for a few days, where he’ll meet with staffers from several CBS stations. Pelley will anchor tonight from Los Angeles at KCBS/KCAL. Tomorrow, he’ll anchor from San Francisco’s KPIX and on Wednesday Pelley will anchor from Queen Anne Hill in Seattle and stop in at CBS affiliate KIRO. Pelley took over the “Evening News” anchor chair in June and also continues reporting for “60 Minutes.” Last Thursday Pelley anchored from CBS O&O WBBM in Chicago where he was the keynote speaker at a luncheon for the Better Government Association.
