Pale Male Fan Sues Paula Zahn For $1 Million, Alleging “False Arrest”

By Brian

“A man accused of stalking and harassing CNN anchor Paula Zahn because a nest for two hawks was removed from the Manhattan building where she lives has sued her for causing his ‘false’ arrest,” the AP reports.

APTN video engineer Lincoln Karim “says in a $1 million lawsuit against Zahn and her husband that he was injured because they ‘maliciously, purposefully and intentionally’ caused him to be ‘falsely arrested and falsely imprisoned.'”

“This is just a pathetic publicity stunt,” Zahn’s attorney Robert Dombroff tells the NY Daily News…

> Update: 11:58am: This paragraph of the AP story is worth noting: “Assistant District Attorney Ivana Nizich said in court that Karim apologized at the 19th Precinct, telling police, ‘I’m sorry. I knew I shouldn’t have gone after the kids, but I was trying to get my point across. I knew I shouldn’t have done what I was doing to Paula Zahn, but it was a way to get my point across because of who she is.'”
