Morning Show Ratings: Week of Oct. 5

morning show anchors_640The Today show wins its 6th straight week in the key A25-54 demo, giving it wins for the first three weeks of the season, which hasn’t happened since 2011. Good Morning America continues as the most-watched morning show–even increasing its week-to-week lead by +8 percent–but it is also down the most vs. last year.

Compared to the same week in 2014 GMA is down -20 percent in the demo, and down -11 percent in viewers. Today is also down in both measurements, just not as much: down -4 percent in the demo, and down -2 percent in viewers. Only CBS This Morning showed growth: up +11 percent in viewers, but down -1 percent in the demo.
