Geraldo Rivera Interviews Sean Penn in Haiti

He’s one of the last people you might expect to see show up on Fox News Channel, but Sean Penn will tonight.

Geraldo Rivera caught up with the actor and activist in Haiti today. The interview will air on “Geraldo at Large” tonight at 10pmET. Calling it “horror,” Pean worries the interest in Haiti will wane. “Many of us will try very hard not to have that happen,” Penn tells Rivera. “It can also be said that Haiti’s quite used to having the spotlight come off of them. It’s had needs for a long time. But I hope that it will refocus, that this is one of our neighbors.”

It’s no secret that Penn is no favorite of FNC’s most popular host Bill O’Reilly. Last year, O’Reilly said that despite Penn being “a great actor” he’d boycott his films. O’Reilly told The Hollywood Reporter, “I’m just not going to give a guy who gives aid and comfort to people like (Iran president Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez and Saddam Hussein, when he was alive, my 10 bucks. That’s my right as an American.”
