According to the “2005 Beta Research Cable Subscriber Evaluation Study,” Fox News Channel and CNN are equally popular. When asked to name their top five basic cable networks, eighteen percent of cable viewers cited CNN and FNC, Multichannel News reports. In addition, 59 percent of respondents said they were “very satisfied” with both CNN and FNC.
