CBS Sunday Morning Has Best February Sweep in 22 Years

CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood had its most-watched February since 1994.

The 90-minute feature-driven news progam averaged 6.22 million viewers, growing +1 percent from February 2015. Osgood was in for most of the month, but Jane Pauley filled in last Sunday, as the longtime host recovers from knee surgery.

Next month, NBC News plans to revamp its Sunday Today show, which goes head-to-head with CBS Sunday Morning in many markets. Willie Geist is expected to be named host of the new Sunday Today which, and insider tells Page Six, “will be more thoughtful and reflective in tone.”
