Bill Carter Joins CNN as Contributor

CNN has signed Bill Carter, the former New York Times television reporter and author, as a contributor. He made his first appearance this morning on New Day, and will appear on Reliable Sources Sunday.

CNN says Carter will contribute reporting, analysis and commentary on top television media stories.

Carter worked on the media beat at the Times for more than 25 years, and wrote four bestselling books, including The Late Shift.
