Lee Peters has joined Scholastic Education as Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing. In his new role, Peters is tasked with helping to shape the strategic direction of the division. He will guide the imprint’s marketing and messaging across multiple major product lines, working closely with the Scholastic Education leadership team, as well as marketing and sales teams.
The position is based in New York and Peters will be reporting directly to Margery Mayer, President of Scholastic Education.
Peters brings 20 years of experience in education and technology to his new post. He has worked for Pearson, Microsoft, Certiport, Adobe, Sun Microsystems and ETS. He comes to Scholastic from Pearson Education, where he served as Vice President of Strategic Marketing, North America, setting the vision and executing on marketing, data, and product.
