NYPL 42nd StThe New York Public Library will host a history exhibition called “Over Here: WWI And The Fight For The American Mind.”

According to press release, Michael Inman served as the curator of this exhibit. Visitors will enjoy posters, sheet music for popular songs of that era, literature, clips from propaganda movies, sound recordings of speeches, and more.

This display opens on July 28th inside the Sue and Edgar Wachenheim III Gallery of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. This date was deliberately chosen to remember the 100 years that have passed since Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, a decision that ignited World War I. What do you think?
