J.K. Rowling’s readers have so much to look forward to with the Fantastic Beasts film release in November, the Cursed Child play opening in July, and the publication of a new edition of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them textbook. Scholastic recently announced that the Harry Potter series author and Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne will appear together at Carnegie Hall in New York.
At the charity event (scheduled to take place in November 2016), attendees will watch a screening of the Fantastic Beasts movie and witness a conversation between Rowling and Redmayne. The proceeds generated by ticket sales will benefit Rowling’s non-profit organization Lumos.
