Joe Manganiello has been cast in the new Batman movie. According to The Wrap, he will play “a brilliant and deadly assassin” named Deathstroke.
Ben Affleck will reprise the role of the Caped Crusader and serve as the director for this project. The Wall Street Journal reports that he is also collaborating with Geoff Johns, the president and chief creative officer of DC Entertainment, to write the script.
On Aug. 29, Affleck teased fans with a cryptic video of Deathstroke posted on Twitter; click here to check out his tweet. At this point in time, DC has not announced the release date for this Batman film adaptation. (via Entertainment Tonight)
