“When Mr. Man is feeling a little fancy,” says his owner (a publicity director at an independent press who prefers to avoid the spotlight), “he loves nothing more than to don his tiara and curl up on a good book. He secretly loves Meg Cabot’s The Princess Diaries and he’s just nuts about Phillipa Gregory’s books, particularly The Boleyn Girl, but his favorite all-time favorite book is Freddy and Fredericka by Mark Helprin.”
