Custom House to Posthumously Publish a Shimon Peres Book

By Maryann Yin

Custom House, a line that belongs to the William Morrow imprint, will publish a book by the late Shimon Peres entitled No Room For Small Dreams. Peres (pictured, via), who passed away in September 2016, was well-known for serving as the prime minister of Israel twice and winning a Nobel Peace Prize.

Geoff Shandler, an editorial director, negotiated the deal with Peres’ representatives from Andrew Nurnberg Associates and the Robin Straus Agency at the beginning of this year. The publication date has been set for April 4, 2017.

Here’s more from the press release: “Peres finished his work on the book several weeks before his passing. Peres, who arrived in Palestine as an eleven year old in 1934, was one of Israel’s most important founding fathers. Over the course of six decades, he served twice as Israel’s Prime Minister, and held every senior cabinet position, including Foreign Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Finance.”
