Universal Pictures has unleashed the first trailer for Bridget Jones’s Baby. The video embedded above offers glimpses of Renée Zellweger playing the titular character.
Deadline reports that other cast members include Emma Thompson as Dr. Rawling, Colin Firth as Mark Darcy, and Patrick Dempsey as Jack Qwant. The theatrical release date has been set for September 16.
The story features characters from Helen Fielding’s Bridget Jones book series. Fielding collaborated with Thompson and Dan Mazer to write the screenplay. (via The Independent)
