CNN senior reporter Dylan Byers is departing the network, and will join NBC News/MSNBC as a senior media reporter next month. (TVNewser)
Byers, who will grab the title of senior media correspondent, will continue to cover media, technology and entertainment from Los Angeles. While he won’t be getting his own show, he will appear on NBC and sister network MSNBC occasionally and write for their websites. (New York Post)
Byers started with CNN in 2015 after gigs at Politico and Adweek. In March, Byers started the newsletter Pacific that covered the intersection of entertainment and technology. (Mediaite)
