MoviePass Cuts Film Selections for Subscribers to 6-7 Titles per Day

By Christine Zosche

MoviePass, the cash-strapped movie-subscription service which lost nearly $127 million in the most recent quarter, has reduced the lineup of movies members can see to around a half-dozen on a daily basis. (Variety)

MoviePass began to send letters to customers on Thursday detailing the changes, but the gist is that the number of showtimes and movies available each day will be limited for the foreseeable future during the “transition” to the new plan. The movie schedule for each day will be available on the MoviePass website. (Business Insider)
