Well, consider this news to us, but yes, supermarket chain Whole Foods held a review over the summer to find the right AOR for its Midwest region, and in the end, the brand selected Minneapolis-based agency, Olson. From what sources familiar with the matter tell us, the Midwest coverage spans approximately 10 markets, with the opportunity for work to get picked up elsewhere.

So, what has Whole Foods and Olson’s creative mind-meld wrought? Well, the MN agency has kicked things off with a holiday campaign for the chain, which includes the animated spot above, the one below and one after the jump. Perhaps taking a cue from The Beatles or just emphasizing the basic tenet of Thanksgiving and the holiday season in general, Olson and Whole Foods urge one and all to “Come Together” with the help of a rhyming, baritone VO. Ah yes, let the gorging, boozing, laughing and arguing commence. Oh yeah, from what sources tell us, Olson will also be handling “some” Facebook, digital and print work for Whole Foods, which has pretty much worked with agencies on a project basis in the Midwest prior.
