On New Year’s Eve, our colleagues at Adweek received an answer to the query that scored us an out-of-office auto-reply: the three co-founding partners at goodness Mfg. who stepped down in mid-December have landed new jobs at Deutsch LA.

Last month we broke the news of major shifts within that shop, which was acquired by entertainment marketing agency Trailer Park in 2010: CP+B vet/integrated production pioneer Rupert Samuel left for a job with his previous employer, and his remaining three co-founders/partners announced their resignation less than two weeks later as the contract they signed with Trailer Park came to an end.

Now we know where they’re headed: Deutsch LA has hired goodness CCO Paul Keister along with ECDs Bob Cianfrone and Tom Adams

CCO Pete Favat told Adweek that the move to scoop up these three was part of a hiring binge following the Sprint win, which the client finally confirmed in December nearly six weeks after we first broke the news.

Favat tells Adweek that he’s not exactly sure which accounts the three incoming creatives will handle, but they’ll soon be hard at work on some of the many campaigns expected from Deutsch in early 2015.

goodness currently seeks a single CCO to replace the three departed executives.
