ADC Invites ‘Top Creatives’ to Reinterpret Cube

By Michael Musco

In case you forgot the Art Directors Club was turning 90 next year, here’s another reminder. As part of its nanogenarian bash, the organization is inviting only those creatives who have won the ADC Cube post-2000 (approximately 600 according to the group) to offer their own interpretation of the Cube image for use on the ADC 90th Annual Awards call-for-entries and at a special exhibition at the ADC Gallery.

The ADC will be reaching out the 600 or so creatives–who get a link to a double-secret website to access templates–and will then whittle down the submissions to five for use on the ADC Awards website, CFE mailers and emails as well as at the 90th Annual Awards gala in New York next spring. In addition, 90 entries will also be reproduced and appear on the walls of the ADC Gallery in New York for a special exhibit at the 90th Annual Awards kickoff party in late September.
