Telemundo’s KTLM has promoted Yulieth Botello to video journalist for “Noticias Telemundo 40” airing weekdays at 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. She’ll join co-anchors Hugo Magallan and Dalila Garza, weather anchor Elizabeth Robaina, sports anchor Hector Zapata and entertainment reporter Mayra Galva on the show.
Botello had been a production assistant and assistant assignment desk editor at the Rio Grande Valley station since May 2014.
“We are very excited to welcome Yulieth as our new video journalist for Noticias Telemundo 40,” Jose Flores, president and general manager of KTLM, said in a statement. “I am certain that she will help our news team deliver the news and information that our viewers want and deserve.”
Her first day on-air was this past Tuesday.
