Young Broadcasting, the parent company of WATE-TV, Channel 6, has named Dan Phillippi general manager of the Knoxville television station.
Young Broadcasting President Deborah A. McDermott announced the appointment today. Phillippi succeeds Gwen Kinsey, who had been general manager of WATE for three years and also was general manager of Young’s Nashville TV station WKRN.
