WXYZ Anchor Returns to Work

WXYZ has cleared Malcom Maddox to go back to work following an investigation into allegations that he sexually harassed co-workers at the station.

TVSpy first reported the story earlier this month when Detroit pastor Reverand W.J. Rideout held a press conference saying E.W. Scripps, WXYZ’s parent company, ignored complaints.

Later, Rideout was suspended from his job as a radio host at a local radio station. The station manager cited the reason being that he made claims without sufficient evidence against Maddox.

The Associated Press says that Scripps determined in 2015 Maddox engaged inappropriately with coworkers and was put on two weeks unpaid suspension.
